FEB Involved in 1st Summer Course, International Seminar, and Community Services

For the first time, dr. Soebandi University in 2024, in it is 3rd year of anniversary which precisely started on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 for approximately for a week, successfully held an international level activity. The event was named Summer Course which carried the theme of “Adapting Healthcare Systems for Future Challenges”.

The activity is part of the implementation of cooperation between dr. Soebandi University with MAHSA University and MSU University, which is summarized in the MoU between the two parties, one of which is in the field of research related to the publication of papers in journals in each institution.

The schedule of events for each day contains different activities, including international seminars, community service, discussions, tours to several places, etc. The Faculty of Economics and Business was trusted to be a speaker on the first day, which was carried out by Mr. Muhammad Danil, S.E., M.E. (Lecturer in S1 Kewirausahaan) who presented the theme “Transformation of Health Services in the Era of Globalization”. On the second day, a visit was made to the fostered village, namely Jatisari, Jenggawah sub-district, carrying the concept of community service implemented by FIKES with the Elderly Service Post program. The visit was continued to see the results of the collaboration at BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) Terbina, where the person in charge there was Indria Dwi Hapsari, SE., MM (Lecturer in S1 Kewirausahaan) with Arief Tri Nugroho, ST., M.Kom. (Lecturer in S1 Bisnis Digital) to introduce superior products, namely Chruncy Mocaf and Lumer Banana Chips. On the fourth day, Mr. Erfan Nurkholis Effendi, S.Kom., M.Kom (Lecturer in S1 Bisnis Digital) was assigned to fill a discussion that brought up topics related to Prehospital Management that can be carried out by the S1 Digital Business Study Program with the title of “Decision Support System as The First Aid in Accidents (P3K)”. Entering the afternoon, a practice of making the mainstay meatballs was prepared by Ismatul Hasanah, SE., MM (Lecturer of S1 Kewirausahaan) assisted by Drs. Mohammad Fanani, MM (Lecturer of S1 Kewirausahaan).

The Summer Camp activity ended with a viewing of the Jember Festival Carnival (JFC) as one of the iconic activities in Jember which is already world-famous.
